The name 8apart comes from the 8-year age difference between our founder, Frankie, and her younger sister.
8apart was born after watching her younger sister struggle to find clothing that was on-trend, well made and stood for something important. Unlike one-size-fits all alternatives, 8apart fosters self-confidence and expression through trendy yet inclusive clothing for young women with changing bodies, moods, and priorities.
8apart is a female founded, female run, beacon of empowerment for young women. We're here to stand with our girls. To uplift them. And to celebrate life.
We got our start because we wanted a space where we could be ourselves—whoever that is today.
We believe in the power of sisterhood and think women who support each other are unstoppable.
