Hi, my name is Nina Burik. You may know me as our founder Frankie’s little sister; the name 8apart is representative of the 8 year age gap between us. While Frankie has always loved fashion, I have always loved writing. For this reason, we worked together to make this blog, Apart of It, to comprehensively highlight the struggles, successes, and realities of the female experience. I hope to use this blog not only as a platform to empower other women, but also to have some tough conversations regarding the complexities associated with being a woman in today’s day and age.
